Drug Take Back

This event specializes in taking your old prescription drugs and disposing of them via incineration. CADCOR promotes this event about every six months. Some reasons for taking your drugs to be disposed of properly are as follows:

1. Someone getting a hold of the old drugs found in the medicine cabinet.

2. Teens now a days will hold "pharm parties" where they will bring in various drugs and lay them on a table. The following is the scary part, they dangerously grab and ingest some without regard to how much they are taking and possibly what they are taking. Anyone lost a kidney, a liver, a brain? 3. Do not just throw your old drugs in the toilet or trash. Some drugs cannot be filtered and are ending up in our tap water. Please read the following article from USA Today: Drugs found in drinking water

Drug Take Back October 2011 Events:

Smyrna event will be held at the Smyrna YMCA MAP from 10am till 2pm on Saturday October the 29th

LaVergne event will be held in the LaVergne City Hall Map from 10am till 2pm on Saturday October the 29th

Murfreesboro: Middle Tn Medical Center Map from 10am till 2pm on Saturday the 29th
